I have always been burdened about the amount of plastic that ends up in our ocean; I reuse many plastic items in my art work. I am a firm believer in reduce, reuse, recycle, but I look at it in a different manner; I like to look at it as reduce, repurpose, and upcycle!
Have you ever noticed that plastic bottle caps come in some great colors? These decorations are great for Christmas! white caps make great snowflakes, red make great candy canes, and green make great wreaths! Adorned with Glitter, paint, bows, and beads these can be made into some beautiful decorations! These could also be left plain to be decorated by kids for their own personal decoration!
